Hi everyone - so glad we can all keep in touch through this awesome site! Here's what I've been up to since leaving Hawaii in 1980. My Dad got stationed in Wichita Falls, Texas, so I followed along for a trip to the mainland. There I stayed for 7 years! I met my husband in Wichita Falls & we married in late 1980. I had my daughter, Charmagne, there in 1985. We moved to Ventura, California in 1987 & I had my son, Aaron, in 1988 (that's it - no more kids!!). We were divorced in 1990 and I moved back East to Richmond, Virginia with 2 small kids & a sense of adventure. I absolutely LOVE Richmond & intend to keep it as my permanent residence (unless I win the big lottery & I can buy a place on Park Avenue West in NYC!). If anyone is ever this way, please let me know!!
I was employed by General Electric for approx. 9 years. I worked in sales in the electrical distribution area & I then moved to GE Financial Assurance for a few years. I left GE about 2-1/2 years ago when an opportunity opened up to work for a media buying company. I buy national radio & TV air time for our clients' commercials. I can truly say that I love my job....it is a blast.
Please feel free to ring me or email me anytime! It's so fun to get a "blast from the past" (so to speak). I really loved going to school at Radford. It's hard for me to relate when I hear people say they hated high school!
