My life since graduation has not been static, to say the least. I left the islands the summer of ’79 and tried life on my own in San Antonio. I was doing ok, but felt I lacked direction. After moving back to Florida for a year, I decided to join the Air Force and get an education. I spent eight years in electronic warfare and special operations, flying all over the world. When I wasn’t flying - I was in school, earning my BS degree in Electronics in a mere eight years!! After receiving my commission as an Air Traffic Control officer – I moved to Florida, Europe, and even can claim veteran status of the Gulf War. In 1992 (after earning my Masters degree) I got out of the Air Force and began working in the IT world as a network engineer. I worked for computer service companies, Digital Corp, Compaq, and eventually Microsoft – where I am today. Leaving the Air Force did not keep me from moving around! Since I left the Air Force, I have lived in Mississippi, Birmingham, and Nashville. Currently I live in Maine with my daughter, Amanda who is 17 and spend time with my 20 year-old son Sean, who shares a house with two other students here in Portland.
Whenever I can find the time - I snow ski; run 5k’s, 10k’s and marathons; and train to someday compete in a Triathlon or two.
I am always on the run and traveling the country, mainly in Boston, Seattle, and New York City. I would to hear from you – drop me an email...
