I am currently working for United Airlines as an Airbus 320 Captain since 1992. I have been a project manager for development and approval of new routes for the Boeing 777 Fleet and Developed Regional Training for International Routes. I am also in the Air Force Reserves, coming up on 20 years, and am Chief of Tanker Plans for 7th Air Force (Korean Region) developing and implementing War Plans for Air Operation Centers.
In addition, I am an owner of a Aviation Safety Audit Company that inspects Flight Departments for FAA, OSHA and other regulator compliance called SafetyPath.
I have been married to Lindy Smith since 1985 and have an incredible 3 year old son named Liam James Smith and we are expecting our second child Aug 9, 2003.
We live in a Mountain Community in Evergreen,
Colorado (Just outside of Denver) for the last 7 years. We love to
travel, ski, scuba, sail, mountain bike, etc.
