After graduation, I left Radford to attend college in Norfolk, Virginia. I graduated in 1984 from Old Dominion University with a B.S in Health and Physical Education. Though, I did not start teaching immediately after graduation as I took a side track into the restaurant business for 8 years. However, in 1992, I woke up and decided to move back to Norfolk and begin teaching school. For the first 5 years I taught P.E., then decided to go to grad school to get a Masters in Educational Leadership. I finished a couple of years ago and now I am an Assistant Principal of a High School here in Norfolk.
I am happily married to a fellow educator and I have five children ranging from 23 all the way to 2.
