HOWDY!!!

Thursday, A trip to Southlake for dinner  

A number of folks arrived on Thursday, well, some like Wendy and Karen arrived in the wee hours of the morning...but the local group and those traveling in decided to meet up for dinner at a town just north-east of downtown Fort Worth called Southlake.  After trying to get in to the Cheesecake Factory with no luck everyone settled on a place called Rockfish.

Friday, Breakfast and a Trip to the Zoo

Friday morning started out with an exciting breakfast at the host hotel (Hilton Downtown Fort Worth) with Eric Malcolm's girlfriend Vicki and Wendy using their medical training to assist a lady in distress at the next table!  Way to go ladies!!  After things settled down the group decided to visit the Fort Worth Zoo.  This zoo is known to be one of the top 5 in the United States - the temperatures were cool for this time of year in Texas and the group enjoyed a very nice day walking around the zoo while catching up with friends old and new...
